Ep #63 - This week on the podcast, I'm doing something a little bit differently. Rather than sitting down with a guest, I'm taking the opportunity to discuss the topic of leadership through the lens of a great book called "Radical Inclusion: What the Post-9/11 World Should Have Taught Us About Leadership" by General Martin Dempsey.

The author of this book, General Martin E. Dempsey, was named one of the most influential leaders in the world by Time magazine in 2015 and is now retired after 41 years of military service. During his time in the Army, he commanded various military units including United States Central Command. He served in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, accumulating 42 months in combat.

Over the past decade, he has served as the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army and then as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff he was the senior officer in the armed forces and the principal military adviser to the president of the United States.

In this episode, I go through the key lessons from this book and break them down to fit within the business world. Enjoy!
