The Rio Strada Racing Team from Sacramento is a big cycling club in the area and they are in their 15th year of presenting a two day race.  We sat down with Derek Novaes to discuss the event and all the festivities that goes along with putting on a race.  The Golden State Race Series p/b Rio Strada Racing (also known as GSRS) is a great event just outside of Sacramento with some unique events like the team time trial, sprinters and overall winners jersey.
