Stages 8 & 9 of the 2018 Tour de France started boring and ended with one of the best days of racing we've seen in years.  Groenewegen is the new king of the sprint hill while Gaviria and Greipel got heady about their sprinting.  Stage 9 saw the riders hit the Hell of the North in July with panic felt throughout the field.  Who survived and at what cost?  Who lost time and who is out altogether.  We break down stages 8 & 9 on the tours first rest day.
