Hello and welcome back to Between Sacred Lands, a podcast by Sangre Migrante. This week we met with our fellow Latinx creatives, Jess and Ruby from Yo Soy, a Melbourne based arts collective for Latinx creatives that was established in 2019.
We delved into all thing Yo Soy and touched on some of the key similarities and differences between Latinx communities within Australia. We also discussed the importance of two separate articles written by Jess and Ruby. Jess's article "My mum is proud to be a cleaner and I am proud of her too" and Ruby's article "Hoop Earrings Are My Culture, Not Your Trend".
