This week on the BBC, we're talking all about taking time off work. Why does something we're entitled to feel so nerve-wracking to ask for? The hosts Ashley, Becca, and Luba,  share past and present experiences asking for time off and vacations. Becca shares a recent experience taking time off work to visit family, a dreaded reunion with slurs thrown at her- that she got tattooed on her body like a badass.  Ashley tells us how her job was impacted when she once had to unexpectedly take an 8-month sick leave and was laid off from a restaurant job for "not partying enough". Luba's scorned by bosses past, and hurls into a trashcan while working at a cash register only to meet that boss again later down the line when she was their boss and schooled 'em on workplace management!
