Another round of matches is in the books, and given how close things are in the battle for the Scudetto, a new league leader has emerged following this weekend's games. Napoli has now reclaimed the top spot following their win over Lazio on Sunday, while both Milan and Inter were frustrated as they were held to draws with struggling Udinese and Genoa respectively. Atalanta may still be hanging on to a top-five spot, but unless the minnows can turn things around, they'll eventually be overtaken by Roma, Lazio, and potentially Fiorentina. This past weekend, Giovanni Simeone netted a hat-trick as Hellas Verona earned a 3-1 win over Venezia in the Veneto Derby. Tammy Abraham once again came to the rescue for AS Roma, who looked set to have to settle for a very frustrating draw against a stubbornly defensive Spezia side.

Another big clash is on the cards as two Scudetto contenders will do battle on Sunday evening as Napoli takes on AC Milan in the most anticipated match of the round. AS Roma hosts Atalanta and given how poor La Dea has been lately, this is a great chance for the Lupi to potentially dislodge Atalanta from the fifth spot and make a serious case for a Europa League berth for next term. Inter and Juventus should have no problems against Salernitana and Spezia.
