Matchday 26 has arrived and with the international break looming many of the bottom teams will be looking to add a few more points to their tally in hopes of escaping the relegation bubble at the bottom. While Athletic Club does not appear to be in any danger of being relegated at this time there are only eight points between them being in 9th place and 19th place Almeria. One of the biggest matches of the whole soccer season will also take place this weekend as Barcelona will host Real Madrid in El Clasico. This could be Real Madrid’s last stand in catching Barcelona as they currently trail the top spot by nine points but could cut that gap to six with a win here.  Real Sociedad will look to finally get back on track at home against an Elche side that have only taken six points from twelve away games.
