The Bundesliga game between Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, originally scheduled for Sunday 6 March got postponed because Mainz did not have the minimum number of players required by the DFL rules of the game due to Covid-19. Thomas Muller scored an own goal as Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich were held to a 1-1 home draw by Bayer Leverkusen. Eintracht Frankfurt returned to winning ways destroying relegation-threatened Hertha Berlin, beating them 4-1 on the road. RB Leipzig failed to make it four wins in a row being held to a 1-1 draw by surprise package Freiburg.

This weekend, the Bavarian giants will travel to play fourth-placed Hoffenheim in the most anticipated match of the Bundesliga round. After a two weeks break, Dortmund will try to close the gap on Bayern when they host Arminia Bielefeld. FC Koln travels to play Leverkusen in what should be a high-scoring affair.
