In this weeks better with Running Podcast,  Zacca and Chriso celebrate 150 episodes with a big recap from all the excitement up at the Gold Coast Marathon weekend, they get a chance to run together at the Lululemon shake-out led by Run2PB coach Brady Threlfall. We hear about the weekend's events, and how much fun they had catching up with a number of athletes and fellow coaches.


Chris talks us through his race and openly shares a tough and challenging day for him in the 10km, but there was a silver lining as he was able to assist Nora along to a sub 50min run, and also embrace the event with a number of his athletes having a great day.


Zacca enjoys the shakeout run with chriso and then laps it up on course watching a number of athletes go by, with just on 60 athletes competing across the various events from 10km through to Marathon with a number of debuts, PBs and great performances.


This weeks guest is #teamrun2pb athlete, Zak Round hailing from ‘God’s Country’ coached by the king of the peninsula Matt ‘Mattress’ Davy, Zacca and Chris unpack his running journey, hearing about his progression as a runner, all the learnings along the way and we hear about his epic negative split at the Boston Marathon earlier this year. We also hear about his fresh new PB up on the Gold Coast and some of the sessions leading into the race.


Zak then takes on the quick fire questions from chriso, and we manage to get another plug in for Zak’s business- www.gather-round.com.au - for any events you may be planning!


The show rounds out with some WR chat, with the boys speculating over a competitor at the World Beer Mile before getting onto some fan mail and a shout out to Brady on his successful weekend juggling a number of things, including a 2:20 marathon!
