Patrick Mock is a hero here in New York City and a hero of mine.
Before Covid became a daily concern in our lives, he saw the devastation in his own community.
As early as January of 2020, Chinatown NYC had already seen a revenue drop by 70 percent due to hatred and falsehoods spread by the Trump administration.
With unpaid rent and no end in sight and the loss of a beloved parent, Patrick had every right to only think of his own survival, but instead he took the opportunity to help and heal his community.
He is a perfect example of how one human can make a difference and embodies the words Be The Change.
