Many of our conversations are focused on reparations for the past horrors of slavery and rightfully so, but did you know that human slavery is still a very real thing today?
According to the United Nations – between 20 to 40 million people are in some form of human trafficking with many cases happening here in the United States. And the majority are children.
Today's guest experienced this first-hand in the city of Sacramento and has been working on ending Human Trafficking since 2008.
Ashlie Bryant, CEO and Co-Founder of 3 Strands Global Foundation, joins us today to share her story and mission to end human slavery.
