A game that could not be played will finally take place, but in enemy territory. Bengals and Bills squared off a few weeks ago in a regular season affair that could've went the other way in terms of playoff seedings and a home playoff game for the Bengals. Unfortunately, with the injury to Damar Hamlin, a 7-0 Bengals lead was quickly forgotten by all when the young man was taken to the ambulance because of a near fatal injury. The game was an afterthought and removed thus bringing us to Orchard Park. Joe Burrow and the defending AFC Champs will take their act on the road against Josh Allen and the Bills. Buffalo did not make things easy in the Wild Card contest against a hobbled Dolphins squad. Will a turnover prone Josh Allen return against a Cincy team that is eyeing a Lombardi trophy? Jacksonville was left for dead at home last week against the Chargers. Trevor Lawrence threw four interceptions and the Jags were down 27-0 near the end of the first half. Doug Pederson was able to rally his boys for a touchdown before the end of the half and then it was on from there. A historic comeback for the Jags now requires them to jump on a plane and head to Arrowhead Stadium and beat Patrick Mahomes. The New York Giants did what a healthy amount of folks though they would against the Minnesota Vikings. An entertaining upset win now has them back in an NFC East matchup against the top seed Eagles. Lots of attention will go to the shoulder of Jalen Hurts, but can Daniel Jones repeat his work last week? Dallas finally shook loose from Tom Brady and now they go from a Hall of Fame quarterback to Mr. Irrelevant. The major difference between the two is the play calling and surrounding assets Brock Purdy has. With a nasty defense, solid running attack, and a skilled play caller, Dallas will have their hands full in the Bay Area.
