Okay, so you know Marc and how brilliant a business person he is, adapting his shop continually to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations. Bucking a major trend nationwide, Orbit DVD still rents (and sells) movies! They have an astounding collection. The addition of video games, comics, books and collectables have been deliberate choices and continue to make Orbit DVD a big draw and true West Asheville attraction.

Morgan is a new shop owner, and the first female to head a comic shop in WNC. Her shop is the self-proclaimed Nerd Sanctuary of Asheville. Not only does she sell comics, related collectables and books, she also hosts various game nights in the shop space including D&D and Pathfinder. She has a beautiful shop cat that has its own Instagram feed. Her shop is easy to spot as you drive Haywood Road heading west. It is located in the block before State Street and has a giant BatMan mural on the side painted by Dustin Spagnola. (Look closely and you’ll see the Joker lurking on the building behind, another Spagnola.)
