History is funny and yet all we get is dramas. They can be done right and enjoyable for all (most) audiences but yet they are few and far between. Comedy is hard so is writing this blurb, to summarise we are discussing the difficulty of writing and performing historical/period/costume comedies and where to put anachronisms. We do discuss plays and theatre performances as examples of correct uses of the tools that make things funny.
