Heb # 46 You have come to Mt Zion Heb 12 vs 18-24 & Psalm 50

1. The difference between Mt Sinai and Mt Zion is the difference between condemnation and salvation.--2. Many blur the line of the Law with grace so that they can import a retired Moses into a Covenant that is only mediated by Christ.--3. Mt Sinai, the covenant of the Law does not speak of any good things about the sinner. IT speaks of darkness, blackness and gloom. The sinner has no hope on this mountain. And that is what God was teaching by the Law.--4. If the sinner shall see life, if they shall meet with God in peace, they have to meet with God in a different context. They have to meet God coming from a different place-Mt Zion.--5. And Mt Zion is God in Christ coming under the New Covenant. The New Covenant has the blood that satisfied the justice of God. And Christ is the mediator of that covenant and is also the God appointed judge and advocate for those who so approach God by Him.--6. All who are in Christ are covered by the blood that speaks of better things for them and none against them. --7. From Mt Zion-Christ Jesus comes to judge His people. He both judges and defends them from Himself. That is the scandal of the gospel, that the judge is also the one married to the accused. The one who died in the place of the accused.--8. If we are to tell the TRUTH on CHRIST, we cannot bring the true believer, blood bought, under the power of the Law. IT is popular and many leading religious and learned men not taught of the Spirit of God do not know what to do the Law and yet God has clearly taught on this matter.--9. Anyone who brings the true believer under Moses has not been taught of God. The true believer is not married to Moses and does not receive instructions from
