This week, Kristen speaks with Bill Tayoun (Spocknik) and Beth Kellner ( Sister Spock), Co-Managers of the Roddenberries, along with Scott Johnston (Captain Scotch Whiskey) -resident Klingon of the Roddenberries - which is a “Star Trekified” sci-fi fi rock-n-roll cabaret band. The Roddenberries have performed at multiple venues and events around the country.  For the 50th anniversary of Star Trek In 2016, they performed on both the Roddenberry Stage at the Star Trek Las Vegas Official 50 Year Anniversary Convention, and on Philadelphia Fox 29 Live tv in celebration of the milestone.  They’ve also performed at The Franklin Institute’s Fels Planetarium for the Philadelphia Science Festival, the Penn Museum, New York Comic Con, Keystone Comic Con, and the Philadelphia Wizard World/Comic Con, where they opened for George Takei's documentary 'To Be Takei’.

Don’t miss the “Eat The Roddenberries” Album Release Event at World Cafe Live on Thursday, June 27th. The show is all ages. 6:30 Doors / 8pm Show. Tickets:  $12 - $18 ADV / $25 VIP // $15 - $20 DOS + FEES.

Then, on Saturday, June 15th there’s a way for you to meet Gritty (the Flyers Mascot) at Photo Pop Philly. They’re having a Flyers celebration there at the Bourse tomorrow 11am to 2pm with a DJ and prizes, lawn games, a GIANT Gritty mosaic made of jelly beans and lots more. Special tickets for the event are on sale now at www.photopopphilly.com.
