The Book of Mormon is here in Philly through this Sunday, June 9th at the Academy of Music. DON’T MISS IT. The show is perfect. The writing (Robert Lopez, Trey Parker and Matt Stone), the choreography, the music, everything. It’s ridiculously funny, and this cast is exceptional. Go and see it. Kristen had the opportunity to catch the show and 'cannot recommend it enough'. One of the leads, Liam Tobin who plays Elder Price stopped by the studio to talk about the show, and he’s just as wonderful in person as he is on stage. Check out the interview, hear all about it, and then buy your tickets at KimmelCenter.org. Kristen hopes to go see it again before the show leaves town. (It’s that good.)

Then, the folks from Artwell stopped by the BEN-FM studio to talk about their big festival coming up on Saturday, June 8th at Oxford Mills (Hope Street (between Front and Howard Streets in Philly). Artwell’s Associate Director Julia Terry and Communications Director, Marcos Reynaga go over all of the fun activities at this year’s festival, including music, dance performances, workshops, interactive art stations, exhibits, food and drink, and the opportunity to learn about the art, vision, and leadership of our city's youth. See performances by Anssumane Sillá, Bethlehem the Vocussionist, former Philadelphia Poet Laureate Yolanda Wisher, current Philadelphia Youth Poet Laureate Wes Matthews, and many more. All ages are welcome to attend the festival for free, or with a suggested donation. Find more information at: http://theartwell.org/artwellfestival.
