Smith Memorial Playground's Healthy Halloween Party, the 2nd Annual Horsham Toys For Tots Motorcyle Ride, and Halloween on East Passyunk Avenue

Smith has operated as a FREE location in Philadelphia for children to play since 1899 - almost 120 years! Then, Kristen speaks with Guy Vogel and Sergeant Daniel Geiser - the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator at Toys For Tots Marine Corps League in Glenside about a great motorcycle ride to kick off the Toys For Tots 2018 holiday season. This year’s ride takes place Sunday, October 21st and features a 30 mile ride, escorted by the Horsham Police Department beginning at Hannum's Harley-Davidson of Sellersville and ending at the Toys For Tots warehouse in Horsham. Bikes Built Better in Horsham will also be offering a free lunch for the riders. Registration begins at 10am (kickstands up at 11am) and the cost is one new, unwrapped toy or $10 per rider. Adam Leiter is the new Executive Director of the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District. He joins Kristen in studio to talk about two great Halloween celebrations coming up on the avenue: the Witch CRAFT Beer Festival on October 24th from 5:30pm-9:30pm, and the East Passyunk Avenue Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 27th.
