Comedy Sportz World Championship and The Sunday Love Project hosts Sunday FUND-Day

This week, Kristen speaks with Don Montrey, Executive Director of ComedySportz, and Kelly Jennings one of the veteran players and minor league coach of the Philly Comedy Sportz team. Comedy Sportz has been performing in Philadelphia for 27 years. Catch a show every weekend at 7:30 and 10pm on Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays. This week they are hosting 30 teams from around the US and UK for the Comedy Sportz WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP at the Wilma Theater from July 25th to July 27th. Then Margaux Murphy, the Director of The Sunday Love Project, joins Kristen in the studio to talk about her efforts to battle homelessness in Philadelphia and an upcoming music festival and fundraiser to benefit the cause. Sunday Love Project is an organization created by Margaux which serves 800 meals to the homeless and addicted each week. Join Margaux and Sunday Love Project on Sunday, July 21st from 12-5pm at Philadelphia Brewing Company for Sunday FUND-day, a benefit concert to feed the homeless. Tickets are $20 and include live music, beer and food. A five dollar reduction will be given to those who bring a donation of sunblock, electrolyte packs, a case of water or a pack of socks.
