San Franciscans spoke out loud and clear last month when they recalled three SFUSD board members. The 3-to-1 voting margin was a resounding reflection of the frustration that so many parents and community members felt for almost two years.

Mayor London Breed has appointed three public school mothers, from diverse backgrounds, to replace the ousted Board members. They've already attended their first Board meeting and now they are stopping by Manny's to talk about their work, the challenges and the way forward.
