For years, DACA recipients have lived with instability following the Trump's administration's repeated attacks to end the program placing their livelihoods, careers, and families at stake over to fulfill a political agenda.

On June 18th, the highest court of the land ruled in favor of DACA, defying Trump's vicious promises to end the program. Over 700, 000 individuals reveled in relief and victory. The landmark SCOTUS decision defined the lives and futures of those individuals who were reassured that #HomeIsHere.

In a blockbuster week the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration was not able to end the DACA program, which protect Americans who were brought here as children, also known as DREAMers, on the basis they provided.

The opinion, written by Chief Justice Roberts, only takes its issues with the reasoning behind why President Trump wanted to end the program, not the legality of the program itself.

This provides yet another reason why we must all bond together to defeat Donald Trump, so that the next President can continue President Obama's legacy of protecting our DREAMers.

We're bringing longtime immigration reform activist and organizer Eduardo Garcia together with community leader, poet, and DACA recipient Jupiter Peraza, to discuss what last week's Supreme Court ruling means for the immigrant community.
