For whom the bell tolls! I've always wanted to say that. Metallica helped me do that a while back but sort of seemed relevant here, too, y'know? Anyway, here we are at Walt Disney's second failed attempt at grabbing that Academy Award for Best Picture - 1996's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", starring Demi Moore, Jason Alexander and Tony Jay amongst others! Based on the classic works of Victor Hugo, the story isn't one we, ourselves, were particularly fond of, but apparently enough of our listeners were so maybe we're the odd-man out this time around. Let us know what you think of this weirdly popular yet somehow still abysmally performing Disney "Classic". Do we call it a classic? Does that fit?-Make sure to subscribe to Behind the Timeline for all of our newest updates and episodes!
