One of baseball’s truly talented and great gentlemen, Carl Erskine made a name for himself on the mound for the Dodgers, winning 122 games, pitching in five World Series and throwing two no-hitters. Erskine also set a single-game record (since broken) of 14 strikeouts against the New York Yankees in the 1953 World Series.
