The 2022 Beer Mile World Classic made headlines across Outside Magazine, Runner's World, Food & Wine, and Women's Running for a number of reasons. For starters, Corey Bellemore set a new Beer Mile World Record with cans in 4:49. Elizabeth Laseter also set a new world record on the women's side — or rather, she would have but was disqualified for drinking outside of the chug zone.
