Atonement theory standoff! Plus resurrection and resolutions revisited. Featuring Doctor Helen Paynter and Tom Wright!

This one is a goodie.

Jonty refuses to go to A&E for a possible broken arm, despite the advice of theologian and actual doctor, Helen Paynter. A listener sends us a voice-note on SpeakPipe (God be praised!) and we ask Helen to answer it. Another Tom Wright answer to a question a few years ago gets an outing. And the (non-binary-use-of-the-term) lads talk about old and new year's resolutions.

Apart from being a good sport and our dial-a-smart-person theologian. Rev Dr Helen Paynter has also written great theology and done a wonderful walk through the Bible, which you should check out.

We don't really want to preach at you, but some people like to know what we believe. It's this: Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to teach us a better way to be while reconciling us to God and each other in a way we could never do without Him. He also changed water into wine. Nice.
