Nikki McGowan is the founder and CEO of ‘Higher Self’, a Glasgow clothing line with a difference. A percentage of the profits is ploughed into running projects for ‘at risk’ and vulnerable teens throughout Scotland
Nikki faced traumatic experiences in childhood and early adulthood which led to PTSD, homelessness and bulimia.
He believes that if we want to truly save the world, then we have to start saving our youth. Everyone deserves the same opportunities in life and that shouldn’t depend on a postcode or poverty.
His projects give disadvantaged young people the opportunities and support to turn their lives around and live a life of meaning and impact.
