Like the disciples bringing the Gospel to the people at Pentecost, you can help the Lutheran Heritage Foundation (LHF) translate and publish books that explain the Bible for people in languages they can read and understand.
Imagine trying to be a good Lutheran pastor when you’ve never read the Book of Concord, or even Luther’s Small Catechism. Or trying to explain to a five-year-old child who Jesus is – without any Bible storybooks.
For Lutheran churches around the world, these situations are reality.They don’t have the basic books, so vital to understanding the Lutheran faith, because no one has translated them into their languages. LHF translates the books that help people understand God's word.
In more than 80 countries and 110 languages, thousands of people have come to faith in Christ because they’ve been able to
read books like The Good News About Jesus or Luther’s Small Catechism, translated by LHF into languages like Vietnamese, Russian and Swahili.
