War for the Roses Vs. The Brick...

This week on the Beauties Podcast Addie and Cowie talk about their personal experience at the War for the Roses tournament. This is a unique episode as we are going to be speaking specifically about an event and the comparisons between the boys version and the girls. We had the opportunity to live inside of the world of being Spring hockey coaches of a female hockey team and all the experiences that come along with it. This episode is to shine a light on drastic difference that continues to be true when it comes to the effort made in male sports over female sports.

The Beauties Sports desk was on the road to Edmonton, Alberta but this episode was recorded when we got home after the tournament. This War for the roses tournament is a week long event where teams come in from all over North America. The competition was great and the athletes were amazing, the only thing missing was the girls being treated as equal.
