From new Afro-indigenous-centric indie pop from Colombia-Canada’s Lido Pimienta to nuevo flamenco via Maria José Llergo to cinematic odes to the immigrant experience thanks to Felipe Salles’ beautiful compositions, the eclectic offerings of the Latin American, Latinx and Iberoamerican musical creatives are immensely eclectic and quite simply, superb.
