A March and Women’s History Month special on Beat Latino! Composing women! Las compositoras from all over the Americas and the Ibero American peninsula have given us wondrous music from boleros to electronica to soundtracks. This week’s selection on Beat Latino takes us to Bolivia, Portugal, Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay….and beyond, as composing women create melodies, rhythms and poetic lyrics to share emotions with their rich and deep tunes and grooves.
