9planets sent us this mix all the way from Toronto, Canada; where he was born and raised. Out in Toronto he runs a record label called Future Science and he's an executive chef. When he's making music he tends to stick to his massive collection of samples which he discovers from his collection of vinyl. He samples his drums from his 1960 Saturn drum kit and his two main pieces of gear are his MPC2000XL and ASR-10, which he swears will be buried with him.
9planets gets his inspiration from Quantum Mechanics, science, space, Isao Tomita, Sour Deisel, Carl Sagan, and the late great J DILLA.
