"This mix is dedicated to the late David Baker- a true jazz pioneer, who i was lucky enough to have as a professor in college for a few semesters. His words encouraged and inspired me to carve out my own lane with my music. I created this mix with the intention of inspiring new thoughts & ideas in the listener, by mixing ethereal melodies with beats that really knock. It is some parts haunting, soulful, sublime, meditative and everything in between. These beats have been a big inspiration to me when i sit down to create my own sounds, and I'm proud to say that most of them were created by close friends." - Skullkid
