This is the fourth episode in a series on the Glory of God. In this episode I talk about how God forgives sin yet upholds His own perfection in holiness and righteousness. God is "just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." This is contrasted against Allah. In the Quran, Allah is said to be "the most gracious" and "the most merciful." However, what happens to the punishment for sin if Allah chooses to forgive. Allah may be gracious and merciful, but without perfectly punishing all sin, then Allah is unjust. This is a major reason I reject Islam as the one true religion.

Romans 3:23-26

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus."
