Finally episode 3 is here and this time around the venue is Stuart’s fine home in Edinburgh.

We’re trying something a bit different this time around and we’re going to be sampling some beers that Stuart ordered from beer52.com instead of going to a pub.

Before we get started on that though I’d like to mention that we’d spent the afternoon at the Krafty Brew brewing facility where we met the owner Mike and sampled some of his fine beers. Check them out at www.kraftybrew.com or give them a follow on twitter @KraftyBrew don’t forget to tell them that we sent you!

So first things first, in this round Stuart was sampling Fourpure‘s Session IPA (4.2%) @FourPureBrewing and John was trying Beavertown‘s Neck Oil (4.3%) @BeavertownBeer.

Before we get to the scores, here’s a quick rundown of the topics discussed in this episode!

Stuart explains to John why the I in IPA stands for India, at least he thinks he does.

John’s beer swilling pal Peter, @PJMcKerry on twitter, makes a social (app) faux pas!

John eyes up Stuart’s Hanging Bat glasses.

The boys wonder who is and isn’t listening.

Missy’s, @FunSizeBiddie on twitter, complaint get’s a mention, and Stuart just chews louder.

Dickola Handicock also gets a mention ????

THE PIZZA ARRIVES!!!

John is looking into creating Flipboard articles for the podcast.

The boys chat about what is better, cut or uncut? But are they talking about pizza or something else?

“Charlie” makes an appearance and is immediately torn to shreads! Seriously Charlie, what even is that? A horse? A bike? An office chair? Have a look at yourself Charlie!

Eminem comes out, kind of. While we’re talking about The Interview, John does a pretty decent Seth Rogan impression.

Goodbye Rick, your laidback womanising ways will be sorely missed.

Last but not least, the scores! Stuart’s beer, FourPure Session IPA was given 6.5 out of 10 by Stuart and 6 by John.

Beavertown Neck Oil was scored 7.5 by Stuart and 7 by John.

The excellently named Neck Oil wins Round 1.

Bye Dr Nick!
