I have questions! JB from Matt 11
One big question today:
The scenario is John the Baptist is in prison. He has made Herod angry and does not know his fate. (Ultimately he gets beheaded, but we are not allowed to read ahead) He sends messengers to Jesus. They come back saying the blind are given sight, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the sick are healed, and the dead are raised. Imagine this news. Jesus is of ultimate, this world and new kingdom power and authority.
John had a lot of time on his hands to think about our question today: "If blind are given sight, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the sick are healed, and the dead are raised, WHY CAN't I GET FREED FROM PRISON?"
