We leave the book of Hebrews with our pockets full of HELP. We have the PAST (the great cloud of witnesses) helping us with our NOW. We have the example of Jesus (who for the joy set before Him He endured the cross) using the FUTURE to help with the NOW. We are left equipped for the very difficult moments of our TODAY.

Yes Lord, we want the good stuff. We do want all Your provisions and all of Your PERSON. We surely will need Your help in the high calls heard in Hebrews.

Jesus called Himself the GOOD Shepherd. Hebrews gives Jesus a promotion: the GREAT SHEPHERD. Let's all draw near. Nothing could please Him more.
