In this podcast, host Angie Gust discusses the importance of diet and exercise in defending ourselves against the coronavirus. Consumer Reports analyzed 5 years’ worth of data from the Dept. of Agriculture on pesticides on fruits and vegetables and recommended choosing organic whenever possible for yourself and for others. Another study showed that moderate-intensity exercise may contribute to increased immune protection in all populations. Compound extreme weather events are becoming more common as a result of global warming.
