At the age of 18 her parents wanted her out of the house to figure life out for herself, at the age of 23 is where she felt like a failure because she felt she couldn't figure it out, working two jobs.

Bobbi takes us back to her 23yr old self,  her parents weren't much of the higher education type, so college wasn't on the table.

What Bobbi knew was how to work hard, but she was barely keep her head above water and felt like she was sinking, eating macaroni and tuna casserole pretty much every day.

One new year's eve, Bobbi came home from work turned on her t.v so she wouldn't feel lonely, had a conversation with herself as she was reflecting and the insights all started coming to her.

"What came back to me was that your life is a reflection of the choices that you've made so far. And as I sat there with that, I thought that's remarkably helpful because if that's true that my life is simply a reflection of the choices that I've made so far, what that means is that if I learn how to make better choices, I can get a better outcome.

Within 18 months Bobbi's life changed making more than double than what she had been, but it was a series of just taking chances on herself and exposing  herself to new things.

Having a speech impediment at the age of 6, her mother taught her a lesson that stayed with her forever.

Feeling like a failure and knowing that she had the power to change her life around, Bobbi started to ask those that she thought that had it together she would ask them questions, as well as read countless books looking for the secret sauce.

We speak about her Miss Missouri pageant, and how her debate coach taught her some great lessons after each debate.

As well as how people showed up in her life that helped her through her life process.

Bobbi fell sick in burnout and doctors questioned her 3% chance of survival.

With her positive attitude Bobbi said well if 3% survived they had the answers she was seeking to get better.

Ten years in her health crisis Bobbi just wanted to get back into her running and physical fitness routine.  She learned to take life in stride and take small steps to her recovery.

Today Bobbi is healthier than she ever was and has conquered some of the most scariest things so she thought.

We speak about so many incredible things on this podcast that will give you inspiration never to give up on yourself.
