Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures
forever.

Isaiah 55:11 - So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I
sent it.

Jeremiah 1:6-12 - “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too
young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must
go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not
be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the
Lord. Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said
to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you
over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and
overthrow, to build and to plant.” The word of the Lord came to me:
“What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I
replied. The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching
to see that my word is fulfilled.” 

PUT A WORD ON IT
The Bible is the only book in all of history where the author actually
shows up when you read it.

 I. LET THERE BE

Genesis 1:1-3 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth
was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and
the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there
be light,” and there was light.

II. IT IS FINISHED

III. HE IS RISEN

Matthew 28:5-6 - But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is
risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

IV. I AM COMING

Revelation 22:20 - He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
