David Allison, founder of The Valuegraphics Project, returns to the podcast to discuss how restaurant operators can target their guests' values to become a more magnetic brand. We're all—every one of us around the world—driven by our values. Operators who identify and speak to their target audience's values significantly increase guest loyalty. In turn, they increase traffic and revenue, positioning themselves and their brands for long-term success. Understanding values also helps us to understand that we all have a lot more in common than we may think. While David isn't suggesting that we reject demographics and psychographics, he does believe we need to eschew demographic stereotypes. Instead, we need to become more engaging and magnetic through a combination of values, demographics, and psychographics, with values at the apex.
