Florida craft beer is buzzing right now, and one of the hottest breweries in the south is Doral, FL's Tripping Animals. Founded by a quad of Venezuelan homebrewers in 2018, Daniel Chocron, Ignacio Montenegro, Iker Elorriaga, and Juan-Manuel Torres, the brewery has become a destination for hype-chasers and, generally, lovers of fire craft beer. Cee hung out with Juan-Manuel to chat about their humble South American origins, their approach to beer and how that changed over time, the help they received from their community, why they chose Doral (30 mins west of Miami), the styles that they're renowned for, their Irie Jungle festival, and their killer barrel program. They crushed their Cooler Than A Polar Bear's Toenails Lager, Dark No Mames Mexican Lager, Ever Haze NEIPA, Daytripping Double IPA collab with Other Half, and Twisted Sail smoothie sour. This was lit, cheers!
