Sven Wittekind

Sven Wittekind is one of the best known German techno DJs and become an integral part of the creative techno scene. He did it by permanently high quality productions and outstanding successful gigs to play on all major platforms and the best clubs in Europe.

1999, early in his career, put Sven Wittekind his first tracks still free on the Internet, until in 2002 the label overdrive signte his first record, "Braindead" and published until today has this plate to the selling of overdrive.

Since then he has published in various international labels, his productions are of high quality and originality.

His first label founded in 2004 Inflicted also quickly became one of the top labels in the scene and offered many producers from all corners of the world a platform.

Inflicted, its own publications and his DJ sets contributed significantly to the development of a sound that became the beginning of the new millennium in the clubs.

A new generation of DJ, events especially new fans accompanied the development of the hard techno.

✦ Sven has always stood for his own sound and developed this more consistently. The music is a snapshot of his life.
Over the years he developed his sound and, to the unique combination of groovy techno and rugged industrial sound to Sven Wittekind embodied today.

In 2009 he finished Inflicted, whilst calling his new label SICK WEIRD ROUGH into life became henceforth form the focus of his work. Besides his work as a producer, he has angagierter course very interested to perform his works. So he travels with about 100 shows per year around the world and visited the countries of the world to his followers party nights to celebrate exessiv. His interest in art shows the techno fans that they are dealing with a true music lover.

The Label releases Remarkable Techno by a mixture of established Artists like Gayle San, Space Djz, Virgil Enzinger, André Walter (Stigmata) or Justin Berkovi, aswell as upcoming fresh talents like Andy White, Mark Morris or Cortechs. Supported by names like Gary Beck, Len Faki, Perc or Richie Hawtin and of course the Artists themself the Label got a great reputation in the Worldwide Techno Scene, what was helping to organise first Label Showcases and launch the popular SICK WEIRD ROUGH Podcast.
