It’s awards season! And the hit and miss nature of the Golden Globes never fails to disappoint. We analyse the nominations. Dolly Parton has had another big week of sweet scents and stinkers, while Myf is exploring the world of casual friendships and how important “weak ties” are to us and our human ecology. Allegations of abuse and coercion against Marilyn Manson raise a lot of questions around the concept of consent, and we’re banging on about brilliant watches on screens – big and small - including Promising Young Woman.
