In the world of the Russian super-rich, not even ï¿½true loveï¿½ is safe.

Thatï¿½s true, at least, for Igor Sechin, the CEO of the Russian state oil company Rosneft, who had his super-yacht seized by French authorities.

Sechin was the deputy prime minister of Russia in Vladimir Putinï¿½s cabinet from 2008 to 2012 and is sometimes referred to as ï¿½Darth Vadarï¿½ by Russian media.

His yacht, Amore Vero ï¿½ Italian for ï¿½true loveï¿½ ï¿½ was undergoing repairs at a shipyard in the south of France, and Sechin tried to ensure that it would be able to slip away, weeks ahead of schedule.
