This time with a fun guestmix by a good buddy of mine. Say ‘Hello’ to DERALINEA!


He himself describes his musical development as that of house music: from disco to R'n'B to Kraftwerk. At

the age of 14, he stocked his vinyl collection with disco, soul and funk. Artists such as Gloria Gaynor or Earth, Wind & Fire were pioneers who determined his sound when he frst started playing in public at the

age of 16. To this day, the musician is fascinated by the wide range between Detroit, Chicago House and Techno.

On his musical journey, he pursues a clear goal: to always remain open to all electronic genres.

DerAlinea stands for a cross-genre style mix of house, techno, deep and minimal techno. The focus, however, is on quality, which is not measured by genres but by thinking outside the box. "For me, the

value of good electronic music lies in the fact that tracks dare to do something," the artist defnes it. "In my case, that also means moving back to the (analogue) times of the 303, 808, Moogs, Jupiter's and DX7's"

After times of reinventing himself, all his concentration is now on what he loves: the music. "DerAlinea" was born, a name as a programme - after all, "Alinea" marks a paragraph, a new beginning. The essence:

sustainable productions, releases and the booking business. As an artist and booker, DerAlinea is now part of the Swiss Nervoes family, resident and musical idea generator at Club Frau Holle in Hamburg. He never let himself be diverted from the path of making his own sound, remaining unpretentious and multilayered. DerAlinea wants to introduce people to music that is perhaps unknown but exciting.

As a DJ, he sees himself as part of an event, drifting and musically engaging with what is moving at the moment. "I prefer to play long sets where I become one with the audience and follow the dynamics. I

want people to go home happy at the end of a long night. "Chicago House, especially Frankie Knuckles, is his lasting inspiration. He is also inspired by the innovative production techniques of Alan Wilder, the

unorthodox of Ricardo Villalobos, and artists who creatively bring music to the forefront. Emotionality and passion for inspired creation are omnipresent and also allow the thoroughbred musician to grow

constantly. "Life is too short to do something without passion. "
