It’s hard to look back at the development of Milwaukee’s music scene without catching a glimpse of Andy Noble. His most prominent role currently may be serving as a DJ for the monthly soul/funk dance party The Get Down, but he’s also the founder and bassist of Kings Go Forth, the former owner of now-defunct record store Lotus Land and a prominent collector of rare records.

In this podcast, I spoke to Andy about how he got into music, what he looks for when he goes record digging and a bit of the musical history hidden in Milwaukee.
