A resurgent Blackburn Rovers came to Dean Court full of confidence after their incredible run of games, and they continued that form thanks to a goal either side of half time.

Indeed, a dispirited AFC Bournemouth failed to make inroads against a well drilled and well-organised Tony Mowbray team - and this left the Cherries just three points clear of third - ouch!
