Jared Broughton- Assistant Coach at Clemson University

In Season 2 Episode 10 of BachTalk, I sat down with Jared Broughton who is a volunteer assistant at Clemson University. Clemson is one of the best college baseball programs in the country and are always in contention to win a national championship every year. Jared brings a strong knowledge towards the offensive mindset. Jared has mastered the implementation of an offense that includes a strong role towards baserunning. From 2014-2016 he was assistant coach at Earlham College. He played a big role by helping improve the teams record from a 21-18 record in 2014 to 29-14 record in 2016. After Earlham he accepted a job as a Associate Head Coach at Piedmont College in Demorest, GA. In just 3 years Piedmont became one of the top teams in the country in the Division 3 rankings. In 2019 Piedmont was ranked 10th in the nation and the top seed in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.
