In Season 2 Episode 14, I sat down with Reds Broadcaster/Analyst and Founder of Baseball Rules Academy Chris Welsh. Mr. Welsh played professional baseball from 1981- 1986. During his career he played for the San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos, Texas Rangers and the Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Welsh has been an Analyst with the Cincinnati Reds/Fox Sports Ohio for 28 years. During his time as a broadcaster he has worked with Thom Brennaman, George Grande, Marty Brennaman, Jim Day, Jeff Brantley and Jim Kelch. Mr. Welsh founded Baseball Rules Academy eight years ago. He found out that he was not able to find a baseball rules quick enough from the book while broadcasting. He decided to make “the Google of Baseball Rules” to be more efficient at his job. Mr. Welsh has a great outlook on baseball combining new school and old school. Mr. Welsh has so much knowledge and experience from the game of baseball.
