Just as we started to saddle up our horses to prepare for our journey out of Bonanza City, a new sheriff rolls into town in Episodes 11 and 12 of Kid Nation. In Episode 11, we learn that, surprisingly, kids don't want to learn or study while on a game show in the desert, but will in fact lose their minds and let the town burn to the ground in order to play arcade games. This chaos eventually leads to Sophia being appointed sheriff. And in Episode 12, the newly appointed "sheriff" is left in charge as the "pioneers" tell the council leaders to explore outside of Bonanza City.
